Monday 13 – Friday 17 January 2025 – SOLD OUT please click the email link below if you would like to go on the waiting list
Learn to capture the changing light in the landscape and experiment with colour to achieve the magical luminosity of Watercolour paint. Students begin the week with rigorous back-to basics exercises in mixing and managing colour in watercolour, looking at both traditional and contemporary approaches. Time will be spent studying the colour of shadows and light on different objects and textures. Tanya will encourage experimentation, sketching from life outdoors and will help each student to develop their own style. With individual guidance, students will then work towards finishing a painting or project inspired by images or ideas of their own. Good for beginners to watercolour and for those more experienced artists wanting to expand their knowledge and skills. All levels
