This is the perfect workshop if you are looking to unblock creatively and develop your own unique creative style. There will be guided exercises to overcome inner critics and encourage creative breakthroughs. You will leave with a better understanding of your own visual language, storytelling style, a sketchbook of ideas as well as multiple small and medium works on paper. All levels |

We will draw words, experiences, meaning and creativity from within whilst seeking reference and inspiration from the surrounding landscapes of the Grampians. If you are looking to unblock creatively and further develop your own visual language then this course is for you. We will use journaling, mixed media, collage, mark making, foam prints and unique sketchbook exercises, alongside en plein air adventures, to inform a series of small to medium abstract landscape works on paper and a larger work on a cradled wood panel. Rachel Moodie is an artist, designer and multifaceted creative based in the NSW Southern Highlands.
She has a degree in Fine Art from UNSW and a background in arts marketing and graphic design. Her artworks are predominantly mixed media and collage and she has exhibited locally and interstate since 2007.
Rachel has published a book on motherhood and creativity called 'The Artful Mum’. She is also the host of a podcast called 'Casting the Inner Critic’, interviewing artists, writers, musicians, psychologists and more about their critical internal voices and the ways they overcome them.
