This workshop will cover a variety of subject matter during the week using soft pastels. Learn to create meaningful, compelling compositions from the heart, with fresh, vibrant pastel paintings. Explore pastel papers, underpainting methods and application techniques. Genres we will cover include Still Life, Floral, Landscape and a little Abstraction, using our artist tools, shape, value, colour and edge. All levels*

Anne’s love affair with soft pastels began in 1999. Beauty found in everyday life inspires Anne to paint. Anne is a member of the Australian Pastel Society and has attended numerous workshops within Australia and overseas. She has won awards with her work, and in 2014 was awarded Master Pastellist Status with the Pastel Society of Australia. With a regular pastel class in Noosa Qld, and in teaching workshops, Anne is a popular teacher. Anne’s love of the landscape has led to inspiring plein air camping trips, including to the Flinder’s Ranges, West MacDonnel Ranges, rural Queensland, and abroad.
