In this workshop you’ll explore a range of engraving and texture building techniques using Linocut tools and other materials. Imagery can be sourced from the surrounding landscape or bought to the class. Students will learn how to multi transfer these onto the blocks and explore cutting and mark making over several sessions. Printing the blocks will incorporate Japanese inking techniques and Western style Relief Inking processes. Kylie will be demonstrating her print methodologies and discussing how you can develop your own series of artist books with an emphasis on the scroll as the basic format for the book. All levels
