We will collect information in the local environment using a variety of different techniques to record our observations. Back in the studio we will use experimental mark making, collage, and layering of paint to create semi-abstract landscapes that evoke a sense of place. At the end of the workshop you will have a collection of experiments for future reference and several resolved works on paper. All levels |

Sue Wood is well known for her textiles and artist books, which have been widely exhibited in Australia and overseas. She is currently working primarily with paint and paper. Her most recent exhibition ‘In Place’, featuring paintings and artist books, was held at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery in 2021. Whether she is making a stitched textile, an artist book, or a series of paintings or drawings her work is about landscape and place. Sue is an experienced teacher, including two decades as a lecturer at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga.
