Longerenong Agriculture College sets the scene for this five day artist retreat working with one of 14 tutors. Longerenong is a 15 minute drive from Horsham in regional Victoria. It's unique, remote location sets a perfect scene depicting the Wimmera’s summer landscape.
Our SB24 workshops will take place on campus – all workshops and accommodation are fully air-conditioned!
Summer Brushes 24 offers fully residential or workshop only options upon booking. SB24 is a five day program with half day non-teaching. Select one of the workshops from the 14 available. It is highly recommended that you book early as numbers in workshops and accommodation are strictly limited.
The workshops will run Monday – Friday from 9am–4pm and Wednesday half day 9am–12noon. The workshop fee includes morning tea and lunch. The meals are professionally catered with fresh menu options daily. All dietary requirements can be arranged but you will need to add this detail in the booking notes upon booking.

Sunday 14 January from 7–8:30pm will be onsite at Longerenong College. There will be a wide range of quality hand craft and visual art by the tutors and students participating in Summer Brushes. Buy direct from the artist!

Single Bed Rm – 6 nights onsite accommodation $780
All rooms are furnished single rooms including a small bar fridge, wardrobe, study desk and chair. Your accommodation will have shared bathrooms, kitchenettes and all rooms are fully air-conditioned. BYO linen – pillow, sheets (single bed), doona and towel. Check-in from Sunday 14 (check-in any time after 2pm) – Saturday 20 January (check-out before 10am).
KING Single Bed Rm – 6 nights onsite accommodation $1,050
All rooms are furnished KING single rooms including a small bar fridge, wardrobe, study desk, chair and a TV. Each unit comprises of 7 king single rooms – there are three units available. Your unit will share 4 showers, 4 toilets, kitchen and lounge – all rooms are fully air-conditioned. All linen included. Check-in from Sunday 14 (check-in anytime after 2pm) – Saturday 20 January (check-out before 10am).

Cancellations from 1 November 2023 – refund 50%
GrampianArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum class enrolment is not reached by 1/12/2023. If a workshop is cancelled, participants will be offered places in other workshop or a full refund if preferred.
NOTE: All workshops have requirement lists and many have a small materials fee payable to your tutor in class. A position in a workshop is reserved once payment of fees has been received. Your class requirements list is available on our website on the workshop page.
We are more than happy to swap your workshop free of charge if there is a vacancy. If a workshop is cancelled, participants will be offered places in another workshop or a full refund if preferred.
