LANA DAUBERMANN | CRAFT AND INTUITION

Monday 13 – Friday 17 January 2025 – only 2 places left!
The focus of this workshop will shift throughout the week, initially starting with exercises primarily devoted to developing the ‘craft’ side of your practice. Colour mixing, composition and achieving a ‘likeness’ to your subject will be our main concern for the first few days, before we move to exercises that help encourage ‘intuition’ in the second half of the week. We’ll discuss the importance of both, and how they can affect the relationship we have to our work. We’ll be working mostly from photos, so participants are encouraged to bring their own or use the ones supplied. Both still life and landscape genres will be explored. I will be working in oils, but acrylic painters also welcome. Suitable for all levels, although some prior experience in drawing or painting is recommended. All levels
