Grampians Texture is an annual workshop series for fibre artists and provides an opportunity to participate in workshops with visiting Australian and international artists. Workshops are suitable for beginners to experienced artists. We are delighted to announce the program for Grampians Textures 25 from 15 – 20 March 2025, will have 19 leading Australian and international textile tutors, teaching 2, 4 and 6 day workshops in venues across Halls Gap and Pomonal.
Set in Halls Gap, on the edge of the spectacular Grampians National Park, in western Victoria, workshops are available for – 2 day (15 Sat–Sun 16 March), 4 day (Mon 17–Thur 20 March) and 6 day master classes (Sat 15–Thur 20 March). Sessions run from 9am – 4pm with morning tea and lunch provided at your workshop. Catering is supplied by the local bakery and will comprise of a salad roll, muffin or slice and piece of fruit daily. Please advise of your diet requirements upon booking. If you require specific dietary needs that cannot be catered for by the bakery please bring your own to the workshop. GrampianArts Market Place Call into Hall Gap Community Hub to buy at GrampianArts Market Place 8am—5pm. Expect to find delicious products for textile and other artists to create with: fibre, yarns, books, fabrics, hand-made papers, vintage kimonos. Exotic, beautiful, unusual, and delightful. Not all traders/sellers will be there for the whole time, but all will be there for the weekend and Monday morning. Grampians Texture Twilight Makers Market Saturday 15 March from 4:30pm – 6:00pm will be at the Halls Gap Community Centre at the GrampianArts Market Place. There will be a wide range of quality hand craft made by the tutors and students participating in Grampians Texture. Expect to find clothing, jewellery, paper, books and more all handmade and hand created, recycled and upcycled!!! Buy direct from the artist. Refund policy This refund policy will be reviewed from time to time. All enrolled students will be informed if changes are necessary. To assist in the management of the workshop a cancellation process is essential. Please email: [email protected] Cancellations to 2 January 2025 – refund 80% of fees paid; Cancellations from 3 January 2025 – refund 50% of fees paid. GrampianArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum class enrolment is not reached by 1/2/2025. If a workshop is cancelled, participants will be offered places in other workshop or a full refund if preferred. Booking: the simplest way to book is via our website. We ask you if possible to please pay for your workshop in full when you are making your booking.
