My work focuses on the sensory experience of landscape: the combination of how landscape looks, how I feel when I move through it, and how I remember the experience afterwards.
I studied Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Scotland in the early 1980’s. Although best known for my easel paintings, I also work with digital media and have undertaken several public art commissions in the UK and Australia. Over the years I have taught art in primary, secondary and university settings.
I have exhibited in New York and London, and more recently in Willaura and Castlemaine.
