Enjoy a fresh approach to art making through the ancient process of encaustic painting. Incorporate other disciplines and materials including mixed media, collage and textiles. Experiment and learn the techniques of layering, embedding, accretion, sgraffito, incising, colour inlay, shellac burn, batik and more. Build confidence in the development of your abstract or figurative art works. All levels of experience are welcome. ALL LEVEL

Kelcie Bryant-Duguid is a Sydney based artist with a multi-disciplinary practice that encompasses encaustic painting, textiles, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, wearables, basketry among others. An assortment of materials and techniques are employed in the creation of her encaustic paintings, which often have a textiles sensibility.
She has exhibited in solo exhibitions in local and interstate galleries and as a finalist in numerous group exhibitions. Her work is represented in private and public collections throughout Australia.
As an educator and facilitator, she has coordinated installations and public art projects with councils and schools in addition to teaching in high schools and adult education.
