Lynette’s love of the creative has been a driving force for most of her life. The wonder of colour and light has been a constant inspiration for her for over three decades of painting. Her subject matter is wide and varied, but Equine is her preferred subject. Using the mediums of pastel, watercolour, acrylic, oil, traditional pencils & a little mixed media you will be opened up to a world of exploration and discovery. Lynette has taught Pastel, Acrylic & airbrush painting techniques professionally and privately for more than two decades and her commitment and passion for art is revealed in her current role as the Marketing & Product Coordinator for Canson Australia.

SHOULD I DRAW WITH THAT? Focus on choosing the best drawing materials for the best result. It will help to develop your basic drawing skills whilst broadening your knowledge with a range of pencils, inks, charcoals and pastel pencils. Then look at the difference in paper stocks, what paper works best with what drawing material. KNOW YOUR BASICS: PASTEL, WATERCOLOUR, ACRYLIC & OIL Each day we will be covering a different medium & substrate, Day 1: Pastel, Day 2: Watercolour, Day 3: Acrylic, Day 4: Oil. With this range of mediums, different techniques, substrates and practical advice you will be able to choose the medium which is right for you.
