Grampians Texture is an annual workshop series for fibre artists and provides an opportunity to participate in workshops with our 16 visiting Australian artists. Workshops are suitable for beginners to experienced artists.
Set in Halls Gap, on the edge of the spectacular Grampians National Park, in western Victoria, workshops are available for – 2 day (19 Sat/Sun 20 March), 4 day (Mon 21–Thur 24 March) and 6 day master classes (Sat 19–Thur 24 March). Sessions run from 9 am – 4 pm with morning tea and lunch provided at your workshop.
We are delighted to advise that Grampians Textures 22 WILL be going ahead, 19 – 24 March 22, with 16 leading Australian textiles tutors, teaching 2, 4 and 6 day workshops in venues across Halls Gap.
GrampianArts Market Place
Call into Hall Gap Community Hub to buy at GrampianArts Market Place 8 am—5 pm. Saturday 19—Wednesday 23 March. Expect to find delicious products for textile and other artists to create with: fibre, yarns, books, fabrics, hand-made papers, vintage kimonos. Exotic, beautiful, unusual, and delightful. Not all traders/sellers will be there for the whole time, but all will be there for the weekend and Monday morning.
Grampians Texture Twilight Makers Market
5 pm – 7 pm Saturday 19 March will be at the Halls Gap Community Centre at the GrampianArts Market Place. There will be a wide range of quality hand craft made by the tutors and students participating in Grampians Texture. Expect to find clothing, jewellery, paper, books and more all handmade and hand created, recycled and upcycled!!! buy direct from the artist.
This refund policy will be reviewed from time to time to take into consideration development with the COVID19 pandemic. All enrolled students will be informed if changes are necessary. We are very aware that these are very challenging times, and we are working towards making this a safe event for everyone to enjoy. If we are unable to run Grampians Texture 22 because of COVID19 students will receive a full refund of their workshop fees paid. Please note that we do need to have most state boarders open for us to go ahead with Grampians Texture as we have many interstate tutor and students.

Cancellations to 1 January 2022 – refund 80% of fees paid; Cancellations from 2 Jan 2022 – refund 50% of fees workshop fee paid.
GrampianArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum class enrolment is not reached by 1/2/2022. If a workshop is cancelled, participants will be offered places in other workshop or a full refund if preferred.

Each day during Grampians Texture a selection of textile traders will sell all manner of textile related supplies and products at Halls Gap Community Hub.
A Twilight Market will be held on Saturday 19 March at GrampianArts market Place in Halls Gap.
Join other students and tutors for evening activities including meals, exhibitions, bushwalks and more.
It is highly recommended that you book early as numbers in workshops are strictly limited and many workshops book out quickly.
