WILD ABOUT FLORA workshop full waiting list being taken Australia, with thousands of species of wildflowers, is beyond compare. They range from petite and quiet to large and self-asserting. Using these wildflowers as inspiration we will create fibre jewellery. Using the colours, and forms of the plants to guide us, we will find ways to interpret these shapes. We will try to find the essence of the flora, its expression in wool. |
4 Day | Monday 15 – Thursday 18 March 2021
INVESTIGATE workshop full waiting list being taken Using nuno as a medium to investigate, explore cut outs to create complex patterning through layering of fabric. These can be later embellished with stitching if desired. Measure, shape and fit your own vest though wet felting. You will create a template to fit your body, allowing for difference in shrinkage for individual layout, and then finish with the perfect fitted vest after felting. |
