FELT INSPIRED BY NATURE – SOLD OUT please click the email link below if you would like to go on the waiting list This workshop is all about creating hand-felted artworks with a Nature-Inspired theme. Techniques include using multiple resists, stitch & cording, rubber & wire, and achieving unusual textural effects in handmade felted forms. Locally gathered natural materials can be incorporated, while wool and other fibres can also be felted around solid objects such as drift-wood, sticks, stones and pebbles, and other (non-felting) materials that allow us to shape and mould wool fibres in unique ways. A hand-on workshop with lots of demonstrations and ‘playtime’. All levels |
