THE ARCHITECTURE OF SOFTNESS WITH FREEFORM CROCHET LACE
Where pattern gives way to intuition and fibre becomes light, shadow, and memory. Working with curated designer yarns, you’ll craft a body-based template by deconstructing an op-shop garment, creating a reusable soft-fabric map of your unique proportions. Guided by Jenny’s personalised colour and body assessment, develop compositions that flow with your silhouette while exploring airy motifs, negative space, expressive stitch combinations, and impactful colour placement. The workshop also includes supportive guided crochet practice, motif development, colour consultation, and lace techniques in a calm, encouraging environment.
You will present your work over a supplied black underdress for a gallery-ready reveal. Suitable for any skill level able to work chains, singles/doubles (doubles/trebles). Leave with a one-of-a-kind textile sculpture, a reusable body template, a toolkit of sculptural lace techniques, and renewed creative confidence. Intermediate
