ABSTRACTING NATURE This workshop explores ways of ‘seeing’ nature (and the world around us) in order to transform it into work that goes beyond the literal. We’ll journal and sketch from nature to build a visual library that fuels studio work layered with energetic line, shape, colour and texture. By revealing what’s beneath the surface we’ll create abstract work that remains faithful to our subjects while pushing it into exciting new territories. All levels |

BEYOND THE VISIBLE This workshop is designed to help you loosen up, break free from common constraints and explore new ways of expressing the emotions that can transform your art. We’ll journal and sketch from nature (including our emotional reaction to it) to build a visual library that fuels studio work rich in energetic line, shape, colour, texture and written words. Drawing and painting are foundational to the mark marking we’ll explore together. This workshop is an invitation to push boundaries, embrace spontaneity, and discover fresh approaches to expression and abstraction. All levels |
