RYAN BREARLEY
Insta ryanbrearley_art
Ryan works and teaches in the tradition of Australian tonalism, known also as the Meldrum Method. The unique approach teaches the student to see the world as abstract arrangements of coloured shapes, thus eliminating preconceived ideas and perceptual errors of the subject matter. No special ’talent’ or knowledge is needed, just a willingness to apply yourself to the ideas and principles.
He has had a lifetime in the arts, not only as a practicing artist in the disciplines of drawing, painting and printmaking, but also in the art material industry.
Ryan is dedicated to equipping people with the knowledge and skills to create their own work with concrete hands-on experience through practical exercises and demonstrations.
